J- Hello
M-Hello
J- Do you think color is important in art?
M- Yes
J- And why do you think that?
M- It is important, because it give paintings meaning and symbolizes many different beliefs, emotions, and representations throughout different religions and cultures.
J- In what period do you think color is important?
M- Impressionism
J- Why?
M- Color is how the artists depict the moment, without it, no one would understand what they were trying to accomplish.
J- What painting do you think uses exceptional color?
M- Girl With a Pearl Earring
J- and why is that?
M- the colors are beautiful and bright and clear. they give the picture life and a meaning. when I look at it I feel the emotions of the girl, I can stand in her place. without color, it would be difficult to see the meaning and depth of the painting. the light reflects off of the painting making the colors shine and stand out.
